Interaction Lab — UI Interaction and Feedback Toolkit

Add consistent interaction feedback to your Unity uGUI interface. Interaction Lab includes editable source, reusable components and a playable demo scene.

Scope

This toolkit uses Unity uGUI, not the UI Toolkit framework. UI elements are built in code. Keyboard and mouse were verified; gamepad support depends on your configured input module. Screen-reader support, audible cues, localization and mobile input are not included.

Requirements and setup

Verified with Unity 6000.6.0f1, URP 17.6.0 and uGUI 2.6.0 on Windows desktop. Use a URP project with Input Manager (Old) or Both enabled. Import the included .unitypackage, open Assets/NJR/Interface/Scenes/InteractionLab.unity and press Play. Other Unity versions, platforms and render pipelines are not claimed as tested. No paid runtime dependency or external service is required.

This is an editable Unity starter kit, not a finished game. The download includes the Unity package, setup instructions, documentation and license; no standalone executable is included.

AI disclosure

The UI is code-driven; no AI-generated raster artwork is included. OpenAI Codex assisted with code, tests, documentation and listing text.

Commercial use

Use and modify the included assets and code in unlimited personal or commercial finished projects. No royalties or attribution are required. Standalone resale or redistribution of these assets, code or competing templates is not permitted. The included LICENSE.txt governs this itch.io purchase; the documentation’s Unity Asset Store license paragraph applies only to purchases through that store. Third-party dependencies retain their own terms.
